EURYTHM3CS – IN THE GARDEN (Remastered Box Set)

Hello and Welcome back… The Album That Started it All

Released in 1981, ‘In The Garden’ was the first album released by U.K. outfit ‘Eurythmics’ (ex ‘The Tourists’)

Two singles was released from this album, those being ‘Never Gonna Cry Again’ (#63 U.K) and ‘Belinda’

Its not a bad album. It included ‘Blondie’s’ drummer (Clem Bourke) on Drums, and was released around the time Dave Stewart & Annie Lennox split from being in a relationship.

For some couples, it would spell the end of their career but not the Eurythmics (they ended up writing about 120 songs about the breakup, clever huh?)

The album on offer is the 2005 Remaster Box Set with 5 extra tracks (3 Live)

1985 – CHOOS3 1985 (Remastered)

Hello and welcome back…. One of my Fav Albums.

Released late 1984, ‘Choose 1985’ was an Australian Compilation that made it to #1 in the Australian music charts for 9 weeks.

The album was released in both Pink or White covers (Vinyl & Cassette) and also on VHS / Beta (Ghostbusters was not on the video version)

This album has never been released on CD.

This version is CD Quality, nearly all songs are from various CDs, Remastered / Auto-leveled so it sounds ‘Mint’
The only difference will be some songs are ‘Album’ versions and not ‘radio’ versions. Radio versions were shorter to make them fit on the album.
This album is a New Remaster (19/9/19)

Hello and Welcome Back…Brilliant Album This.

Released in 1982, Out Of The Blue was a compilation album released in Australia on Vinyl and Cassette.
Sadly, never been released on CD

This version is CD Quality, nearly all songs are from various CDs, Remastered / Auto-leveled so it sounds schmick
The only difference will be some songs are ‘Album’ versions and not ‘radio’ versions. radio versions were shorter to make them fit on the album.

Released in 1982, ‘In The Sun’ was a Compilation album released in Australia.

Tracks includes ‘Wired For Sound by Cliff Richard which was a huge hit, also included The Go-Go’s, Duran Duran, Greg Kihn Band & Simple Minds.

This album has been remastered using available CDs and Auto-Leveled properly. The only difference between the original and my version is that tracks used may include album versions (they go a bit longer than ‘Radio’ versions) used on these albums.

EURYTHM3CS – SAVAGE (Remastered Box Set)

Hello and Welcome back… A More Sophisticated Album?

The 6th album released by U.K outfit Eurythmics, saw them turning to a more experimental sound and relying on the NED Synclavier Digital Synthesizer to produce new sounds.

The album ‘Savage’ produced 4 singles, those being ‘Beethoven'(#4 France), ‘Shame'(#17 Poland), ‘I Need a Man'(#6 U.S Dance) & ‘You Have Placed a Chill in my Heart'(#15 Ireland)

It has been quoted that ‘Savage’ was both Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart’s favorite album from their entire catalog… Its a pretty good album

The album on offer is the 2005 Remastered Box Set CD with 5 Bonus tracks.

Released in 1986, this was U.K band Eurythmics sixth album.

Called ‘Revenge’, the album stayed with the rock / pop sound similar to their previous release ‘Be Yourself Tonight‘

If you get the chance to see Madonna’s new movie / bio called ‘Madonna and the Breakfast Club’ Do so, Its Very Good.

The new movie follows Madonna in her early years around 1978 – 1982 as she struggles with love, music and freedom, and her lust for fame.

Its very well done, i enjoyed it.

Fun Fact… The band ‘Breakfast Club’ (think 1987 – Right on Track) was Madonna’s first band… I never knew that 🙂

1984 – SH3KIN’ (Remastered)

Hello and welcome back… Another of my Fav 80s Compilation Albums

Released in 1984, Shakin’ had some brilliant tracks to offer, It also made it to #1 for 2 weeks in the Australian music charts

Once again, i used various CD’s to recreate a CD version of this album, all remastered / Auto-Leveled. Sounds amazing. (yes, i listen to the album for about a week before releasing, just in-case somethings not right)
This album is one of the New Remasters, updated 19/9/19

1982 – WITH A B3LLET (Remastered)

Hello and welcome back… Something Special for the Weekend

Thinking back to when i was young, just about everyone i knew had this album, ether on Vinyl or Cassette (never released on CD.. Ever)

It was at a time when record company’s actually got together and made decent compilation albums. Here in Australia, we were lucky because we had some excellent albums come our way.

The idea to re-do this album in near CD quality came up on a Facebook page when i realized that no one had a decent copy of this album. Even online, the recordings are sketchy and not leveled properly.

So i scoured my vast collection of CDs and made my own version. Still the same tracks but now, CD quality, Re-mastered / Auto leveled (properly) so each song sounds excellent.

The only difference you might notice is that some songs are ‘album’ version’s not ‘radio’ version’s meaning, the song goes for a bit longer… not a bad thing, in my book.

I now have a CD version of one of my fav compilation albums from the early 80s
