Released in 1984 by U.S band ‘Animotion’, their debut album spawned  just one single, ‘Obsession (#5 U.K)’.

The album, also called ‘Animotion’, seen the track ‘Let Him Go’ prove popular but was never released as a single.

The album on offer is the 2009 Cherry Pop Remaster with bonus tracks added inc 12″ versions of Obsession and Let Him Go

Released in 1984 by German band ‘Alphaville’, the album ‘Forever Young’ spawned four singles, those being ‘Big in Japan (#1 Europe, U.S Dance charts)’,  ‘Forever Young (#1 Sweden)’, ‘Sounds like a Melody (#1 Italy, Sweden)’ & ‘The Jet Set (#13 Germany)’

Hello and welcome back…

If your a lover of the T.V show ‘MASH’ then you will instantly recognize this song. Its the MASH theme but not how you remember it.

Released in 1980 by ‘The MASH’ (Johnny Mandel / Mike Altman) ‘Suicide is Painless’ reached #1 in the U.K & Irish music charts.

Written by a 14 year old, its a sad, bleak song, ts sort of fitting for a song used for a T.V show about war even if it had some comedy themes in it.

Hello and welcome back… Wicked dance song

Released in 1986 by U.S singer ‘Nicole’ (Nicole J McCloud) was this crackalackin’ track ‘Don’t You Want my Love’ (Released on the ‘What About Me’ album)

The song made it to #10 in the U.S Dance charts, and was used in the 1986 film soundtrack to ‘Ruthless People’ starring Danny DeVito & Bette Midler

It was also very popular in Europe reaching #7 in Belgium and #8 in Sweden’s music charts.

ENYA – CARIBBEAN BLUE

Hello and welcome back… God, I Love This Song

Released in 1991 from the ‘Shepherd Moons’ album, Caribbean Blue was a song by Irish music producer ‘Enya’ (Enya Patrica Brennan or Eithna Ni Bhraonain)

The track made it to #2 in Israel, #3 U.S Alternate charts & #8 in Ireland.

What i find amazing is the fact that , she doesn’t listen to other peoples music, so her mind is free to create.

Also her voice is the only voice in her music, hours and hours (up to 500 times) are spent layering her voice to give the sound of a choir. She can also sing in 10 different languages, 3 of them fictional, yes folks she can sing in her own special language… impressive.

Enya lives in a Castle (Killiney Castle) and has sold over 75 million albums, all without leaving her House / Castle… No need for Twitter.

Close your eyes and relax to this amazing Lady…
